ROCK SUN / BLENDER TOOLS0.1.1 · Review candidate
Texture Rescue Lite

Missing texture.
Visible consequences.
Controlled repair.

See which objects and materials use a missing image. Review exact-name replacements. Relink only the files you choose.

Offline Blender utility · Proposed introductory price $2.99 · Not yet listed for sale

Actual Blender renders from the included original fixture. The repair and restore check also verifies that the saved source project is unchanged.

Three deliberate steps.

01 / INSPECT

Know what is affected

Trace standard image nodes through shared materials, nested shader groups and world nodes. See more than a missing filename.

02 / REVIEW

Resolve name collisions

Search inside a folder you choose. Exact filenames become candidates; duplicates wait for your selection. A match is never a guarantee of the right content.

03 / REPAIR

Keep the final decision

Confirm the paths before applying. Check the scene, restore the last repairs if needed, and save the project yourself.

A focused first release

Small scope.
Explicit limits.

Blender's built-in Find Missing Files is useful. This tool adds an inspectable impact list, explicit duplicate-name choices and a local report around a narrow static-image workflow.

It does not recover absent files, guess their contents or modify texture files.

  • Static local image references
  • Shared materials and nested shader groups
  • Local CSV export
  • No account, cloud service, API key or telemetry
  • No automatic project save

UDIM, sequence, movie and linked/read-only images are excluded from repair. Third-party renderer nodes are not certified. Other Blender versions and operating systems remain unverified; see the validation record.

Review the work.

The package includes reproducible original demo assets, source and the actual validation record. Verified in Blender 4.5.3 LTS on macOS arm64: 51 automated behavior checks plus native installation, sidebar scanning, confirmed repair, restore and CSV export. Other environments and independent buyer use remain unverified.
